Food
Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps Lightly Salted – I like to stay as healthy as I can be. Sometimes I fall short of that. I’m not on my A-game 100% of the time I’ll admit. But I make up for it by working out okay! Especially since I feel I don’t get enough veggies in my diet – I prefer to eat them raw if I can plus I’m more of a fruit kind of gal. Anyway, I tried these not too long ago and I fell in love with them right away. Here is what the company has to say about them.
“Calbee starts by mashing up organic and non-GMO peas, blending them with rice, salt, and a combination of canola, sunflower, and/or safflower oils before forming into the familiar peapod shape. They are then baked (not fried) to a crispy perfection, making a protein-rich and gluten-free Snapea Crisp snack the whole family will love.”
And they certainly are enjoyable. Oddly enough, they kind of taste like potato chips. Not sure if I’m the only one on this. Harvest Snaps come in different flavors that I still have yet to try so don’t be shy about them yourself. Only downside is that, like most foods that come in a bag, 3/4 of it is air while the remaining 1/4 is deliciousness. We need more deliciousness.

Outshine Fruit Bars See, I told you I was more of a fruit gal. No surprise I’d add this to my current obsessions. Now these beauties aren’t like your typical run of the mill Popsicle. No. They are made with real fruit or fruit juice with no added sugars! At least, that’s what it said on the boxes that I’ve had. The no added sugar part I mean. But oh my goodness these are delicious!! My favorite is the box that comes with strawberry, raspberry and tangerine. Then….I discovered the watermelon box and I immediately had to get them. Wasn’t disappointed. But again, these too have a wide range of flavors such as fruit plus veggie and apparently fruit plus tea. I haven’t tried every one out there but I kind of want to. Maybe make it one of my life goals. You need those small achievements to help you feel like you can defeat the bigger ones.

Entertainment
Jenna Marbles – I know she isn’t new to the YouTube scene and she’s made quite a name for herself over the past few years with millions of people knowing her channel but I’ve only just recently started watching her videos. I love YouTube. It’s a good source of entertainment. But I mostly watch gamers or nerdy related stuff/channels. Seriously though, I spent pretty much half a day binge watching her stuff she’s hilarious. And because of her I’ve also been watching her boyfriend’s stuff, Julien Solomita. Those two are so precious together! They are perfect for each other and I love the videos where they are doing stuff together; super dorks (which coming from me is a huge compliment), they always seem to have fun together and are laughing together, they’re comfortable with who they and how they are with each other – fully and lovingly accepting. They found their better half who can not only be that significant other but can also be a best friend. Relationship goals! If they ever break up I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life. Here’s one video on her channel featuring the both of them that had me smiling and laughing the whole time. Conjoined Twin Challenge

Monster Hunter World – Video games have always been a part of my life since I was little. For me, they are a great way to unwind while providing entertainment and there is a wide variety to choose from. Lately, I’ve been addicted to Monster Hunter World. Right now, I’ve put in 90 hours of gameplay. That’s right you read that correctly. 90 hours. But I’ve been playing it for the last few months, right around when it first came out at the end of January. It’s an action role-playing game in which you hunt giant monsters to progress through the game that leads up to ultimate task of fighting the elder dragons all while upgrading your armor and weapons, and discovering different territories. As for the character you play as? You get to customize them yourself along with your furry cat companion that fights along side you. Available on PS4 and Xbox One (I’ve got it for the PlayStation), you can either play online with other players from around the world or you can choose the single-player lifestyle as well. Whatever you’re most comfortable with. Here’s my character and cat fighting partner – though you can’t see her adorable face with the armor she has.

ThredUP – Love buying new or gently used clothes at a discounted price? I sure do and that’s exactly what I got when I shopped on thredUP.com. And yes, it’s an online thrift store! You can shop in the comfort of your own home. You can even customize your search options based on size, color, condition, availability, style, brand, etc. Only draw back is when you find something you really like, and someone else comes along to add it to their cart, you’re out of luck. So once you find something you just gotta have make sure you put it in your cart. But be aware that it will only stay there for 24 hours (or until you buy it). Once that time limit expires, it’s up for grabs for anyone else to take. No joke though, I got a summer dress, new with tags, that was originally $30 but I got it for $7.99!! I’d showcase the items I got (which was only five) but the weather outside isn’t quite ready for my summer style clothes. Maybe sometime in the near future I will make a post dedicated to ThredUP.

Crafts Direct – My mother was the one who told me about this store, so when we both went for the first time back in October I have officially found my new favorite craft and hobby store. It offers so much more then the others I have frequented in the past and it helps spark new ideas as to what your new project will be. One of which I’ll be doing real shortly for another post! Unfortunately, I’m unaware if there are multiple store locations but even if that may be the case, it doesn’t mean you can’t go out and discover new shops for yourself. Maybe you too will discover an new gem like I did.
